A cold, clear night above Whistler, BC, offers the kind of starry sky that makes the drive—and the chilly air—worth it. The stars were out in full force, painting the sky with a million points of light, and I couldn’t resist capturing this moment of serene beauty.

But fun fact: this photo cost me $1,100 in Jeep repairs after water intrusion got into my electronic sway bar disconnect. Worth it? Absolutely. Some shots are just too good to pass up, even if they come with a hefty repair bill.
