Land Acknowledgement

I live and work as a photographer and technology leader on the unceded, ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Vancouver exists on land that was never surrendered, and while I aspire to own a home here, I recognize that I am part of a system built on displaced land. I carry that truth with me in my work and presence on these lands.
